“Anna listened to what I needed and the issues that were concerning me, was non-judgemental, and helped to come to my own resolution whilst being empathetic in a “real world” type of way. I really appreciated her help and approach and would recommend Anna to anyone”

Approach to Support

Approach to psychology support - cognitive, emotional and experiential therapy

  • Client-centred

You are a whole person shaped by your biology, relationships, experiences, environment and unique personality. Therapy will be based on your goals, and the approach is tailored to meet your individual needs.

  • Safe

Humans are relationally wired and we thrive when we feel secure. The therapeutic relationship is, therefore, based on principles of respect, trust, non-judgement, and compassion.

  • Professional

Drawing from years of clinical experience and training, the approach is evidence-based, confidential, and can fit in with wider health plans. Therapy is a big investment, so the therapeutic work will be purposeful and orientated towards your goals.

  • Collaborative

Both you and Anna each bring your own strengths and resources and work together in partnership, at a pace and in a manner that meets your needs.

  • Cognitive, emotional and experiential

It is important to explore and value different ways of ‘knowing’, to be able to make sense of your experience, and recognise your patterns so that you can then learn, choose, and practice the tools for growth and change.
